2018 CSA Bouquet Subscription - Whole Share

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. A flower CSA works the same way as popular vegetable CSAs. A member typically joins in the winter/early spring before the growing season starts. Their payment helps our farm buy seeds and other supplies for the coming year.

In return for their investment, members receive a biweekly bouquet of premium organically-grown flowers. The flowers you receive are grown by us here in Carroll County on our small 2 acre flower farm.  The types of flowers vary from week to week, season to season.  In June, expect wispy beauties like snapdragons and larkspur.  Summer brings bright favorites such as sunflowers and zinnias.  Fall bears lovely dahlias and heirloom chrysanthemums.  Each 20 stem bouquet is bright and beautiful, reflecting the seasons in our part of Maryland.

When you join our CSA, you’ll be getting only flowers that have been grown without any synthetic chemicals in a field where nurturing nature through sustainable practices is top priority.

How It Works

You will receive one large market bouquet for 16 weeks that can be picked up every week from June - September.  Bouquets are filled with what's best and freshest and varieties change as the year progresses.  From peonies to dahlias, it's a beautiful whirlwind of color and fragrance all season long!

The Details:  Pick up every week in Frederick at The Trail House (17 S. Market Street) on Wednesdays (June 6th - September 19th) from 3 - 7 pm, in Westminster at Jeannie Bird Baking Company (42 W. Main Street) on Thursdays (June 7th - September 20th) from 2 - 5 pm, or at the Farm (3968 Harney Road, Taneytown) on Fridays (June 8th - September 21st) from 3-7 pm.

You can share your share!!  If you are away for your week of pick up you can absolutely have someone else pick up your share whenever you like. You may also want to consider splitting it with a friend so that you can alternate weeks.
